A Busy December

December was a very busy month in Pretoria (yes, it is still December but now we are in Italy so I felt it was okay to post this now).

On Mondays I help the 2nd grade with their garden project- taking about 8 students to do some watering and weeding.

When Gio has friends over after school on Mondays they get to join his tennis lesson.
ALL of Gio's sibling waiting for the morning school bus.

Yes, she picks most of her outfits herself.

Resting up for puppy class.

Lots of puppies today.  Can you spot Jagger??
(hint: collar with Golden Retrievers on it)

Post-puppy class coma on the drive home.

Puppy class group photo (I and J litters combined).  We were at a shopping mall practicing stairs, elevators, avoiding distractions, walking on lead.

The storms in Pretoria are truly spectacular.  After this one we got to see a double rainbow!

Gio's 8th birthday and a new bike!  He was such a kind brother to let his baby sister get one, too.

Why is the smallest dog bed in the house always the most popular?

A birthday tradition- a Nico sleepover!

Birthday party at Bounce!

Gio invited all of the 2nd grade boys (and one girl!).

Maria loves visiting Gio's school, and is so excited that she will be a student at AISJ in August!

Maria's school closed a week before Gio's so we had a week to do things together...like haircuts!

...and visiting her doctor (one of Maria's favorite activities!)

Another puppy class, this time visiting an office building.  Counterclockwise: Jade, Jedi, Isaac & Jagger

In we go...

Maria's stellar dance moves....

Even Pepper, our grumpy cat, has fallen under the spell of Jagger's charms.

Isaac came over for a sleep over.  Chaos ensued...
With Paolo traveling so much, Maria has created her own game of chatting with him on her play phone.

Crab hunting at the dog park (that is Jagger's girlfriend Daisy supervising)

Making Swiss bread men at a Christmas party (not so sure how she lost her shirt)
Maria never used a pacifier as a baby (preferred her fingers) but suddenly decided this week she wanted "to be baby".  Here's hoping this fad fades quickly.

Soccer with big brother...

Yes, guide dog puppies still dig in the garden.
They are not angels!

Another "dress as a book character" day.

Jagger loves my shoes. So far he only moves them around.  Hoping the chewing does not start.

We got to Italy tomorrow, so time for a pedicure!
